I took a quick look at the search term "maple store" on Google. Currently, on Google there are no advertisers that are prepared to bid on that term. That is not good. Normally, this means that the domain name in question is a brand name, not a generic name. The addition of "store" to another word is a natural extension for many goods that are sold i.e. camera + store ..... camera store is a commonly used combination - thereby making CameraStore.ca (http://www.CameraStore.ca) a very valuable domain name. However, maple + store is not a commonly used combination. Nevertheless, I looked at the potential uses for such a name. There is a store called TheMapleStore.com and they sell maple syrup and other stuff. You could develop a similar website. The advantage you have over TheMapleStore.com is that maple syrup and other maple products are readily identified as Canadian so having the .CA at the end of your domain name is good. So the domain name is worth something. Limited resale value but some development potential.

Went back and checked Google stats and they estimate 33,100 searches globally and 8,100 searches in Canada for the "maple store" term. Broad searches.

Yes but the main point is that the term MapleStore.ca says Canadian Store it has nothing to do with maple syrup.

Hence MapleSoft.com Maple.ca MapleCasino.ca MapleLeafs.com all great Canadian entities

The name Maple has NOTHING to do with syrup, it says Canada and Canadian Business. The government of Canada website states that the MapleLeaf is one of the strongest branded flags in the world. It says Canada like nothing else.

So MapleStore.ca means a Canadian store selling Canadian Products to Canadians. The Maple Syrup aspect is minor and means nothing.

Do more research on Maple and you will see that almost every Maple.com variation you can think of is registered.

Sorry, I meant to add this part.....

Other than my MapleOne group of domains, no domain on my site will be list over $5000, it will state that specifically and that will make getting a domain affordable for most companies. I have no intention of saying.... what are you offering.

The MapleOne.com group sells as a package for 100,000 other than that the other domains will have a set price.

Before anyone says good luck.... I don't need it, I already sold three putting me into a profit position. Not bad for a rank amateur eh? Or should I say MapleEh.

I see what you are referring to but usually "leaf" is added to such prominent names .... Maple Leaf Gardens, Maple Leaf Foods, etc.

You can add leaf but most places would prefer to keep it short and identify Maple with Canada. Maple.com has been in dispute for years and the owner is afraid to put up a site because everybody makes a claim of owning Maple. The fact is nobody does, it is THE Canadian symbol above all else.

As soon as I say MapleCorp you mind will say Canadian Business, that is what makes the domains valuable. That is why I collect Maple and Canada domains, they say Canadian business the best. TedsCorp says nothing MapleCorp says Canada. TedsStore says nothing MapleStore says Canadian Business
